Sunday Mutton Curry

- Marinate mutton in garlic and ginger paste, salt and turmeric powder for 45 minutes.
- Heat oil; add chopped garlic, chopped onions and sauté till golden brown.
- Add the marinated mutton and continue cooking for 15 minutes till the mutton is well seared and brown.
- Add the coriander seed, cumin and black peppercorn powder.
- Add the tomato paste and continue cooking till oil separates
- Add about 500ml of hot water and potatoes. Cover and cook till mutton is tender and potatoes cooked.
- Finish off with ginger juliennes; slit green chilies and fresh coriander.
- Serve with rice.
