Prawn Moilee

- Wash and clean the prawns thoroughly
- Peel the ginger and garlic and cut into slices. Slice the onion and slit the green chillies into halves. Cut the tomato into thick slices
- In a pan, heat coconut oil, temper the whole peppercorn. As the pepper crackles add in the ginger, garlic, chillies and curry leaves
- Cook for 2 minutes, making sure it does not burn then add in the sliced onion
- Cook till the onion turns translucent, add in the turmeric powder, sauté for 2 minutes and add in the prawns
- Sauté till the prawn gets a bit of colour. Add in a little water and cook till the prawn gets cooked
- Add in the coconut milk and mix well. Add in salt and lemon juice
- Cook for two minutes till the desired consistency is reached
- Add in the tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes
- Serve hot with rice
