Malabari Crab

Preparation

  • Clean and dry crab on kitchen paper.
  • In a mixing bowl add rice flour, refined flour and corn flour.
  • Add salt crushed fried curry leaves, oil, crushed pepper, chopped ginger, lemon juice, cumin powder.
  • Add red chili, garam masala and turmeric powders.
  • Add little water and make a thick batter.
  • Coat the crab in the batter.
  • Put crab in a hot oil (180C) and deep fry it for 3-4 min.
  • Remove in a bowl add ginger julienne and pickled mayonnaise.
  • Toss nicely.
  • Garnish it with grated coconut and fresh herbs.

  • Rice Flour - 10gm
  • Refined Flour - 5gm
  • Corn Flour - 10gm
  • Salt - 10gm
  • Curry Leaves fried - 5gm
  • Oil - 10ml
  • Crushed Pepper - 5gm
  • Chop Ginger - 5gm
  • Lemon Juice - 5ml
  • Cumin Powder - 5gm
  • Red Chili Powder -  5gm
  • Garam Masala - 5gm
  • Turmeric - 5gm
  • Ginger julienne - 2gm
  • Fresh Grated Coconut - 2gm
  • Pickle Paste Mayonnaise - 5gm
