The Eloquent Elephant, the friendly and unique neighbourhood gastro pub located at Taj Dubai, has launched a super creative seasonal menu celebrating some of the finest produce available from UAE farms and fine-food producers with the quirkiest dish names around town.
The new menu was unveiled last week by Head Chef Nigel Lobo inspired by his recent trip to England where he visited no fewer than 20 top artisan pubs and Michelin star restaurants looking for hot new food trends and ingredients. Proving that elephants never forget, Chef Lobo has retained long standing favourites including slow-cooked beef cheeks and sticky toffee pudding whilst adding quirky artisanal and delicious touches. These popular dishes have been joined by new flavorful options including duck bao with hoi sin, smoked haddock Scotch eggs with mustard emulsion, Himalayan salt-baked chicken, Gorgonzola churros with truffle honey espuma, ‘Two little birdies’ and pulled lamb Benedict.
